Statement of Ministry Mission

Tatanka Oyate Ministries is a faith-based spiritual ministry dedicated to creating and maintaining a peaceful sacred space where individuals, families, and communities may gather for prayer, healing, meditation, spiritual growth, and connection with nature.

Our mission is to promote peace, unity, healing, and spiritual well-being through traditional ceremonies, prayer circles, meditation gatherings, sacred chanupa ceremonies, retreats, community support, and nature-centered spiritual practices.

The ministry was founded from a collective desire to create a safe and welcoming environment where people may reconnect with themselves, with one another, and with the natural world in an atmosphere of respect, compassion, and spiritual harmony.

Tatanka Oyate Ministries maintains spiritual connections and ceremonial guidance rooted in Native American traditions and teachings. Some members of the ministry community are Sun Dancers and caretakers of a sacred chanupa, which is respectfully protected and used for prayer and ceremonial purposes when needed by the community.

The property located at 140 Lakeshore Drive, Georgetown, Florida, serves as an active ministry and retreat space used for ongoing religious gatherings, meditation, prayer ceremonies, healing events, youth and family activities, spiritual counseling, and community retreats.

Tatanka Oyate Ministries operates exclusively for religious, spiritual, charitable, and community purposes. Any donations received are used solely to support the ministry’s activities, sacred spaces, ceremonies, retreats, maintenance, and continued service to the community.
