About Us

Our
Story
Tatanka Oyate Ministries was born from a shared vision among individuals seeking a peaceful and sacred place where people could gather, reconnect with nature, support one another, and cultivate harmony within themselves and the world around them.
Our community is rooted in respect for the natural world, spiritual reflection, prayer, meditation, and sacred ceremony. We believe that inner peace creates the foundation for peace within families, communities, and ultimately the world itself.
Many members of our community maintain spiritual relationships and ceremonial guidance connected with Native American traditions. The sacred ceremonies held within our ministry are conducted with respect, integrity, and under the spiritual guidance and blessing of Native elders and ceremonial leaders.
Some members of Tatanka Oyate Ministries are Sun Dancers and caretakers of a sacred Chanupa (sacred pipe), carrying the responsibility to protect, honor, and preserve this sacred tradition. The Chanupa is kept within a protected ceremonial space and is brought forward during prayer, ceremony, healing gatherings, and times when the community seeks spiritual guidance and unity.
Tatanka Oyate Ministries exists as a sanctuary of peace, prayer, healing, learning, and connection — a place where people may gather in love, respect, and spiritual harmony with the Earth and with one another.
We welcome all who seek peace, reflection, healing, and sincere connection with spirit and nature
